Natural Eco Papers
are a division of NEGOCIOS CONSOLIDADOS DEL PACIFICO, S.A. ,
a specialized paper producer located on the Pan American Highway running through the Pacific Coast of Guatemala, Central America, on the foothills of the Andes, near the town of Retalhuleu, just 75 Km. (50 mi.) from the Guatemala-México border.

The company is owned by ex-employees of a major paper multinational who left the area in 1978, as well as by the employee association, organized and legally constituted in 1992, using a model of the "employee stock ownership plans" (ESOP'S) that exist in the U.S.A.

Natural Eco Papers has developed a line of "natural" fiber containing papers for printing and writing, using a furnish of 90-93% recycled wastepaper collected in Guatemala, El  Salvador and Honduras (pre and post consumer) and 7-10% "natural fibres" obtained from agricultural and agro industrial sources near the mill. When required, the mill can process waste agricultural fibres in two digesters located in the mill. Key operating personnel learned papermaking and fiber processing from years of working for multinationals and from experimentation.
